Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white corn syrup
    2 c. peanuts (raw)
    salt
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and syrup to 170\u00b0.
    Add peanuts and continue to cook to 300\u00b0, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add soda.
    Beat to a foam.
    Pour into a well buttered cookie sheet; spread and sprinkle with salt.
    When cool, break into small pieces.
    Do not forget the salt.
