Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. squash, steamed and strained
    2 c. rich milk or cream (may use canned milk)
    1 c. brown or granulated sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Mix squash with all ingredients, except milk; beat until mixed, then add milk.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour into pie plate which has been lined with pastry.
    Place into hot oven for 15 minutes, then reduce heat and bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    This makes 1 large or 2 small pies.
