Asparagus Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus spears
    2 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. skim milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of white pepper
    1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese
    1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
Preparation
    Cook asparagus; drain well.
    Place in a shallow serving dish and keep warm.
    Melt margarine in pan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in salt, mustard and pepper.
    Gently stir in cottage cheese; cook over low heat 1 minute.
    Spoon over asparagus and sprinkle egg over sauce. Makes 8 servings at 54 calories per serving.
