Homemade Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion
    oil
    1 large can tomato puree
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 1/2 cans water
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 c. sugar
    meatballs
    oregano
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil.
    Add puree, paste and water.
    Season with salt and pepper; add sugar and oregano.
    Simmer until thick over very low heat (8 hours).
    Stir occasionally.
