Alabama Cornish Hens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can mandarin oranges
    1 c. rice
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 c. melted butter
    4 Cornish hens
    1/2 c. white wine
Preparation
    Drain oranges and reserve juice.
    Cook rice according to directions, using juice as part of the water.
    Stir in curry powder, parsley, 1/2 cup butter and the oranges.
    Stuff hens lightly, then secure opening with skewer.
    Place on broiler pan. Combine with the rest of the butter and the wine, then brush with butter mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting frequently.
