Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. quick cook rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
    2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation
    Combine ground chuck, onions, green peppers, rice, salt and pepper in large
    skillet
    and
    brown.
    Pour off any excess fat after it has cooked.
    Add chili powder, tomato sauce and 1 cup of the cheese.
    Cook
    on
    low heat about 15 minutes.
    Pour contents into casserole
    dish
    and
    top with remaining cheese. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 20 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
