Huquenot Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Lightly oil a 9-inch or 10-inch pan.
Beat eggs at high speed until thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar until very thick.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat just until mixture is combined.
Fold in vanilla, apples, pecans and lemon juice.
Turn into dish.
Bake until top is crusty and brown, 40 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.
Top with pecan halves if desired.
