Brandy Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
    2 pt. fresh strawberries
    8 fresh peaches
    sugar to taste
    1/2 c. brandy or cognac
Preparation
    Defrost unopened can of orange juice concentrate.
    Wash and hull berries and blot dry on paper towels. Peel peaches, cut into halves and remove pits.
    Place in a shallow crystal bowl. Sprinkle with sugar. Cover with strawberries and sprinkle lightly with sugar to taste.
    Stir brandy into undiluted orange juice concentrate.
    Pour over fruits and mix gently.
    Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally. Serve in individual small bowls.
    Makes 6 servings.
