Norwegian Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg or 2 egg whites or egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. diced apples
Preparation
    Beat
    egg,
    sugar,
    vanilla
    extract
    and baking powder together until
    smooth and fluffy.\tBeat in flour until smooth and well
    blended.
    Stir
    in
    walnuts and apples.
    Turn into a lightly greased
    8-inch pie plate and bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0. Pie will puff
    up as it cooks and then collapses as it cools. Serve warm with a scoop of ice milk.
