Green Bean-Buttermilk Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. snapped green beans
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Cook beans in salted water until done.
    Add buttermilk.
    Stir often.
    Bring back to a boil.
    Add pepper.
    Make a paste of flour dissolved in a small amount of milk.
    Let boil up again.
    Remove from heat.
    Set aside to cool.
    Soup tastes better after it is cold.
