Snitz Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sour snitz (dried apple slices)
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Soak apples overnight in water.
    Cook them in the water they soaked in.
    When soft, put through colander.
    Add sugar and cinnamon.
    Turn into pastry lined pan and cover with top crust. Bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
