Alice'S Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/4 c. minced onion
    2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
    2/3 c. chili sauce or ketchup
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. horseradish
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dried sage (optional)
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil in a nonstick pan.
    Add onion and garlic, cooking until tender and water has evaporated.
    Add the rest of the ingredients.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour into clean, hot preserve jar; seal and store in refrigerator.
