Coconut-Pecan Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.
    Add coconut and pecans.
    Beat until thick enough to spread.
    Makes about 2 2/3 cups.
