Italian Sausage Soup With Tortellini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Italian sausage
1 c. coarsely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, sliced
2 c. chopped tomato, peeled, or 1 can Italian tomatoes
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1 1/2 c. sliced zucchini
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
1 medium green pepper, chopped
5 c. beef broth
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. dry red wine
1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. each: basil and oregano
8 oz. (2 c.) frozen cheese or meat tortellini
Preparation

Brown sausage in a 5-quart Dutch oven.
Remove sausage and drain.
Reserve 1 tablespoon liquid or drippings.
