Aunt Alma'S Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cranberries
    3/4 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    10 large marshmallows
    chopped celery, apples and pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Wash and salt cranberries.
    Combine berries, water and sugar in saucepan.
    Cook until berries pop open.
    Dissolve unflavored gelatin in small amount of water.
    Remove berries from heat source; add gelatin.
    Mix.
    Stir in marshmallows; add fruit if desired.
    Cool.
    Refrigerate overnight.
