Seafoam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, beaten stiffly
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water to thin syrup stage.
    Pour 1/3 of syrup slowly into egg whites, constantly beating.
    Boil remaining syrup to thread stage; add 1/2 to egg whites, constantly beating. Boil remaining syrup to hard ball stage and add to egg whites along with vanilla and nuts.
    Drop on wax paper.
