Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat well.
