French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 large onions
    4 c. stock or water
    dried bread, cubed
    grated Mozzarella cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic to taste
Preparation
    Slice onions as thin as possible.
    Cook gently in melted butter until yellow.
    Add water or stock and simmer 20 minutes. Season according to taste.
    Place bread into individual soup crocks.
    Sprinkle generously with cheese.
    Pour soup over bread. Brown under broiler.
