Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef roast
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1/4 c. parsley
    1/2 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. consomme
    1 c. dry red wine
    12 small onions
    3/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. mushrooms
    1/4 c. dry red wine
Preparation
    Cut meat in 1-inch cubes.
    Roll in flour and brown in butter. Stir in any remaining flour and cook 1 minute.
    Add garlic, parsley, carrots, consomme and first cup of wine.
    Cover and simmer 1 to 2 hours until meat is tender.
