Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
5 Tbsp. melted butter
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Vidalias
2 Tbsp. oil
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine crumbs and butter; press into an 8-inch pan. Bake 8 minutes at 350\u00b0. Saute onions in oil until tender; put into shells. Mix remaining ingredients, except cheese. Pour over onions. Top with cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
