Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising corn meal
1 heavy pinch of salt
buttermilk until thickness like pancake batter
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
Pour 1/4 cup of bacon grease into 12-inch iron skillet and let sit in oven while mixing ingredients together.
Mix above ingredients together and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is light golden brown.
