Layered Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. celery, chopped
    4 boiled eggs, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 chopped onion
    8 slices fried bacon
    2 c. mayo
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Tear clean, crisp lettuce into small bite size pieces and place in dish.
    Layer rest of ingredients in order listed.
    Add sugar to mayo and spread over top.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours and toss at serving time.
