Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stalk celery, chopped (1 c.)
    1 onion, sliced (1 c.)
    1 large can French-style beans, drained
    1 can tiny peas, drained
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1/4 c. sugar or more if desired
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix last 6 ingredients.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Cool slightly and pour over drained vegetables.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours or overnight before serving.
