Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 c. butter, softened
    5 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Sift flour and confectioners sugar into bowl.
    Cut in butter until crumbly.
    Add egg yolks and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until light brown.
    Remove to wire rack to cool.
    Cut into bars.
    Yields 27 bars.
