Fourteen Carat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp/ baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. carrots, grated
    1 (8 1/2 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Sift together first 5 ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat eggs with a wire whisk. Add sugar and beat until dissolved. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans. Bake 35 - 40 minutes, until done. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Invert onto racks to cool completely.
