Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. oleo
2 1/3 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 oz. lemon flavoring
4 c. flour (plain)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/4 lb. candied pineapple
1/4 lb. white raisins
1 qt. pecans
Preparation

Cream the oleo and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flavoring and blend.
Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add fruit and nuts.
Mix well. Bake in 2 or 3 loaf pans at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
