Dumplings For Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Add flour and mix until smooth over low heat.
    Add 1 cup boiling water all at once and stir constantly until dough leaves sides of pan; cool.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well in between.
    Add salt.
    Drop into boiling water (form dumpling with a teaspoon).
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes and place in soup dish or make them ahead of time and heat them in the soup.
