Okra Soup(Use Big Soup Pot) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

shank of beef with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. meat and hunk of suet (marrow bone)
3 lb. chopped okra
4 ears corn
1 lb. butter beans
1 large or 2 small cans tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
2 large onions
4 or 5 bay leaves
1 dried hot pepper or coarsely ground
Preparation

Cover beef with 3 inches water, bay leaves and pepper. Rolling boil 1 hour.
Add okra, onions, tomatoes and paste; bring to rolling boil.
In 30 minutes add butter beans and corn.
Cook 30 minutes and add salt and black pepper to taste.
Can thin down. Also good to can.
