Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 medium cucumbers, sliced very thin
    10 medium white onions, sliced very thin
    salt
    water
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. white vinegar
Preparation
    Cover the cucumbers and onions with ice water and salt (use 1/4 cup salt to 1 quart water).
    Refrigerate for 48 hours.
    Drain and rinse lightly.
    Mix the sugar and vinegar; stir well before adding to cucumbers and onions.
    Put pickles in freezer containers.
    Cover with liquid and freeze.
