Cranberry Salad Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 scant Tbsp. Knox gelatine
    2 c. orange juice
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. carrots, shredded
    1 c. apples, chopped
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine cranberries, water and sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer 5 minutes.
    In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatine into orange juice to soften, then add to hot mixture.
    Cool; chill until syrupy.
    Fold in celery, carrots and apples.
    Pour into a 6-cup oiled mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Unmold and serve.
    (Great with poultry.
    With cottage cheese, it is a nutritionally complete lunch.)
