Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    11 c. cabbage, chopped or grated
    11 c. cucumber
    11 c. grated green tomatoes
    1/4 c. salt
    6 c. chopped onion
    9 tsp. turmeric
    8 c. sugar
    5 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. pickling spice
    5 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Combine grated cucumber and tomatoes and drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients and spices in heavy pot.
    Add cabbage, onions, tomatoes and cucumber.
    Boil 18 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Place in \"hot\" jars and seal.
