American Moussaka - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 pkg. Hamburger Helper mix (for potato stroganoff)
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 c. milk
    1 c. water
    2 eggs, beaten
    paprika
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until beef is light brown; drain.
    Stir in tomato sauce, salt, oregano, cinnamon and garlic powder.
    Grease baking dish 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch.
    Layer half each of the potatoes, beef mixture and cheese in dish; repeat.
    Mix sauce mix, milk and water; stir in eggs gradually.
    Pour milk-egg mixture over cheese and sprinkle with paprika.
    Cover and bake 50 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 10 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Makes about 6 servings.
