No Bake Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 (30 oz.) can apricots, drained (reserve syrup)
    1 envelope gelatin (unflavored)
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) tub Cool Whip
    1 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook butter and sugar until boiling.
    Add corn flakes and nuts.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons of mixture for garnish.
    Press mixture in bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan.
