Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Sift flour and other dry ingredients; add milk and egg yolk. Mix thoroughly.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture.
Add oil.
Heat waffle iron on both sides; grease well.
Put a little of batter in center; close iron.
Brown on both sides.
Serve with syrup.
