Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    7 qt. apples
    10 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Fill jars with apples, then cook remaining ingredients until thick.
    Pour over apples in jars. Cook in pressure cooker for 8 minutes on 5 pounds or put in water bath for 20 minutes.
