Boiled Spareribs And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. ribs
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 gal. water
    6 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    In a pot place
    the water;
    bring to a boil and add the ribs. Cook until
    tender.
    In
    a separate pot, put the sauerkraut.
    Add the chopped
    onion and the 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Cook for 15 to 20 minutes
    or
    until
    kraut
    is very hot, stirring occasionally. Serve with the ribs.
