Ingredients

1 can tiny whole beets
3/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 whole cloves
1 Tbsp. corn oil
1/3 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. ketchup
dash of salt
1/2 c. beet juice
Preparation

Put sugar and cornstarch in pan.
Stir and add oil, salt and vanilla.
Stir well.
Add 1/2 cup beet juice.
Cut beets into bite size pieces and add to mixture.
Cook until it thickens.
Keeps well in refrigerator.
