Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 small can cream-style corn
    3/4 c. hoop cheese, grated
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix like corn bread the cornmeal, buttermilk, eggs and salt. Add bell pepper, onion and cream-style corn.
    Pour 1/2 batter in greased skillet (heated). Spread over skillet with spoon (wet to spread well). Add the cheese evenly over batter.
    Add the remaining batter on top of cheese, covering all with remaining cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 40 minutes.
