Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

corn meal
1 c. cream-style corn
1 chopped onion
1 or 2 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg

Preparation

Beat egg in a bowl.
Add corn and mix.
Add sugar, onion and flour; mix well.
Add enough corn meal to thicken, not as thick as regular corn meal hush puppies.
Stir lightly with a fork.
Deep fry until golden brown.
