Ingredients

deep dish pie crust
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3 oz. (1/2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Cool Whip
milk chocolate chips
Preparation

Bake pie crust according to directions and allow to cool.
In a small bowl, cream sugar and butter until light.
Blend in cooled chocolate and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat on medium speed of electric mixer for 2 minutes.
After each egg, scrape sides of bowl constantly.
Turn mixture into baked/cooled pie shell.
