Strawberry-Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries and juice
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 mashed bananas
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except sour cream.
    Put 1/2 of mixture in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread sour cream on first half, then spoon the remainder of mixture over the sour cream.
    Chill to set.
