Easy Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 egg
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. sugar
dash of red pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Form into balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
