Grandma'S Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head red cabbage, grated
    1/4 c. boiling water
    sea salt or seasoned salt
    1 large carrot, grated
    1/4 c. fresh dill or 2 Tbsp. dried dill
    1 to 2 c. mayonnaise or mayonnaise dressing
    juice of 1 small lemon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over cabbage.
    Add salt and knead well to soften cabbage.
    Add carrot, lemon juice and dill.
    Stir and add mayonnaise; mix thoroughly.
    Refrigerate.
