Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. sweet potato, cooked and mashed
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. shortening
2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Combine egg, potato, sugar, butter and shortening in a mixing bowl; mix well.
Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
Dough will be softer than regular biscuit dough.
