Strawberry-Cream Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 pkg. frozen strawberries (1 is fine)
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream (1/2 pt.)
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups water brought to a boil; add strawberries and blend until berries are thawed.
    Add drained pineapple and pecans.
    Pour half of mixture into flat dish and chill.
    Whip-blend sour cream and cream cheese.
    Spoon over the chilled Jell-O mixture.
    Spoon remaining Jell-O over the cream layer.
    Garnish with Cool Whip.
