Karo Crazy Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. popped corn
    1 c. nuts
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put corn and nuts on a cookie sheet.
    Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a 1 1/2-quart pan.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel color.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Spread over popcorn and nuts.
    When hard, break in pieces and store in tightly covered container.
    Makes about 2 pounds.
