Cherry Pretzel Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. crushed pretzels
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
large Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Melt butter.
Stir in sugar and pretzels; reserve 1 cup crumbs for top.
Put remaining in a 9 x 13-inch pan; pat down.
Beat softened cream cheese; beat in powdered sugar.
Fold Cool Whip into cream cheese mixture.
Put 1/2 of cream cheese mixture on crust, then 1/2 of cherry pie filling.
Repeat cream cheese mixture and then cherries.
Put the rest of pretzel crumbs on top. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
