Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices bread (crusts removed)
    1 can mushrooms
    1 green pepper (optional)
    8 oz. pkg. Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled *
    6 well-beaten eggs
    1 qt. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    In 13 x 9-inch glass pan, place 8 slices bread, buttered side down.
    Spread mushrooms, green pepper, cheese and bacon on top.
    Place 8 more slices bread, buttered side up.
    To eggs, add milk, salt and dry mustard.
    Pour over casserole and let set in refrigerator overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
