White Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 (1/4 inch) onion slice
    1 fresh sprig of parsley
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. whipping cream
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Pour milk mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a small bowl, reserving the hot milk.
    Melt butter in large skillet over low heat.
    Add flour gradually. Cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Gradually whisk in hot milk and cook over medium heat until thick and bubbly.
    Whisk in whipping cream and remaining ingredients. Use immediately.
