Fettuccine With Marinara - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (12 oz.) cans shrimp
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped carrot
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. crushed oregano
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. pkg. fettuccine, spinach fettuccine or spaghetti
Preparation

For sauce, in medium saucepan cook onion, carrot and garlic in hot oil until tender, but not brown.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, salt and dash of pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Add shrimp and simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes or to desired consistency.
Cook pasta, drain well and serve with marinara sauce.
